GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC MADHIRA ESTABLISHED IN THE YEAR 2008 WITH D.C.E. AND D.M.E. BRANCHES HAVING INTAKE OF 60 EACH. THE COLLEGE IS LOCATED AT KHAZIPURAM, MADHIRA-507203.

M1:To achieve academic excellence by imparting quality education in civil engineering with practical exposure to the technological advancements.

 M2: To make students industry ready by imparting employability skills like creativity, soft skills, leadership qualities and professional ethics among the civil engineering students.

M3:To enable the students for pursuing higher education in civil engineering.

PEO1: To provide socially responsible, environment friendly broad-based solutions to problems in civil engineering adapting professional ethics.

PEO2:To promote excellence in learning and collaborative activities in construction industry to create skilled civil engineers, entrepreneurs, capable of designing civil structures and also solving real life problems

PEO3:To obtain the learning skills to keep abreast with rapidly changing technologies in civil engineering and thus continuing life long learning and to enable the students to pursue higher education.

To produce technically skilled diploma students by providing quality education in Mechanical Engineering to enhance their employability to pursue higher education inculcate lifelong learning skills and making them socially responsible citizens.

 Mission of the Mechanical Engineering Department

M1:To impart knowledge in the fundamentals of mechanical engineering profession improving the skills and developing a better and positive attitude in students.

M2:To empower students for successful professional career in industry and to pursue higher Studies by providing conducive teaching-learning environment by imparting supervisory skills and leadership skills, inculcating entrepreneurial thinking and enabling them to serve the society and the nation

M3:To empower the diploma holders with more emphasis on high pass out rate

M4:To impart the technical skills through academic excellence, industrial and practical training to solve societal problems and to enhance employability and promote lifelong learning.

PE01:To produce competent and skilled mechanical engineering technicians with ability to apply basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to solve real time problems of the industries and society

PEO2:To be able to apply discipline specific knowledge by using relevant and modern engineering tools to solve core and/or applied engineering problems in mechanical engineering to enhance employability.

PEO3:To exhibit good communicative skills, professional ethics, teamwork and leadership qualities with demonstrable attributes to contribute for societal needs and sustainable development.

PEO4:To inculcate lifelong learning and encourage students to pursue higher studies.
