The college has been established with a vision of creating student centered environment in which their technical skills are enhanced specially among girl students in line with women empowerment.

MISSION

The mission of the college is to serve the cause of technical needs of students, especially from rural background and provide avenues to become self reliant and get better employment opportunities.

COLLEGE PROFILE

Government Polytechnic for Women Medak is established in 1986 and is recognized as one of the premier academic institution in the state of Telangana. It is located in sprawling campus of around 13 acres in lush green, pollution free natural environment. It provides Technical Education at Diploma level (Polytechnic) to students in the steams of  Civil (DCE), Electronics and Communication (DECE) and Computer Engineering (DCME).  The intake for each course is 40 students.

The Institution stands tall in public esteem and also in the memories of its alumni, many of whom are now prominent figures in government, business, industry, media and education. Notwithstanding its name, students from all parts of the state, have grown up here and excelled in their chosen areas of their interests.

The institute follows the rules and regulations laid down by the Sate Board of Technical Education and Training ,Telangana State and AICTE Guide lines for admissions.
