The Institute started in the Year 1980. The campus was constructed in a wide area of 14.12 acres. The instituion is located in the Nalgonda town about 3KM from the Central Bus Station on the way side of Hyderabad Road behind IT Tower Nalgonda. The College campus is maintained beautiful, covered with full of green trees providing peaceful study environment.

The admission to various courses in the Polytechnics are made based on the rank obtained in the POLYCET (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) conducted every year in the month of May/June by SBETET (State Board of Technical Education & Training, Telangana State).
