      Government Polytechnic  For Women-Nizamabad   

Government Polytechnic For Women was established in the year 1985 to provide Technical Education for Engineering and Non Engineering courses by the Department of Technical Education under the approval of  All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) New Delhi.Previously the institute was present in the Goernment Polytechnic Nizamabad. In 1996 the institution started running in its own building. 

State Board of Technical Education and Training, an affiliating body, is an adjunct office of the Department of Technical Education under the Chairpersonship of Commissioner of Technical Education.

Our Aim is to impart the best Technical Education is to supply the best Technocrats to cater today’s industrial needs leading to the socio-economic development of the nation. 

VISION:

 To impart value based Quality technical education to the needs of technical holders with fully developed self versatile need driven motivated technocrats and engineers who can contribute to national development.

MISSION:

1.To promote excellence in technical education in collaboration with industry.

2. To impart students value based Technical education with best practical skills.

3.To ensure that the students are excelled with good academic discipline and professional competency to cater today’s        industry need.

4.To inculcate team work and work with spirit using modern technology tools.

COURSES OFFERED:

1.   Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) – 50 intake

2.   Diploma in Pharmacy (D.P.H) – 30 intake

3.   Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg (DECE)- 50 intake

Admissions will be based on the entrance examination POLYCET  conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training(SBTET), Telangana.

Candidates who have passed/appeared  S.S.C. or its equivalent examination are eligible for appearing POLYCET .

The Campus is located in 6.55 acres of land providing peaceful atmosphere for the students and facilitating as a learning centre.

Biometric Attendance In & Out  is being monitored daily for Students and Staff.

Students performance in Class Tests/ Final exams through Onscreen  Digital Evaluation systems.

Grievance Cell is  monitored by experienced faculty to solve any grievances to students and above mentioned is the  mail/phone number to report if any.

Anti-ragging Cell/Squads are made for Curbing the menace of ragging

Extracurricular activites and Co-curricular activities  such as Sports, Indoor and Outdoor games are encouraged.

CC Camera coverage  is enabled in each and every class rooms , in and out of the campus  for better monitoring.

Parent Teacher meetings are arranged to get in contact with the parents of the ward about his performance in the  institute.

Counselling programmes conducted by Faculty members.

Discipline  and  Punctuality is monitored for the overall development of the student for a better citizen to the nation  tomorrow.
