We are elated to introduce ourselves  that the Government Polytechnic, Station Ghanpur, an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution is one among prestigious Government Polytechnics  in Telangana under Directorate of Technical Education, Telangana. This polytechnicis approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a Statutory Body of Government of India.

The institute is located in Station Ghanpur at shivunipally village, which   is 28 km away from the historic city of Warangal and Hanmakonda. Our College is well connected by rail and road routes. It is 1 km away from Ghanpur railway station and frequent trains are available between Ghanpur to Kazipet junction and Warangal railway stations.

Our Institution established inthe year 2008 by offering Two Diploma programmes i.e Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) and Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) with intake of 60 seats in a each program (DCE & DEEE).

We want to ensure an institution in holistic education and value which teaches students to grow, think, believe and liberate, both in the realms of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. We want to pioneer the growth of the next generation students, the movers and shakers, the innovators and dreamers to bring about an enlightening era of academic brilliance.

The potential feature is the Institution headedby a dynamic Principal Sri. Dr G. Pochaiah, M.Sc., L.L.B, Ph.D.,with his team of  Head of EEE section-  BVVS Ramakrishna, M.Tech, Head of CE section- K.Naveen Kumar,M.E and Head of General Section-M.Raj kumar, M.A and also having well qualified more than 15+ years of experienced faculty committed for students welfare.

The salient feature of our Institution:-

1. The Institute has its own campus covering an area of 10 acres land.

2. Individual Hostels for Boys and Girls within the campus area.

3. Availability of Library with more than 2000+ Books, Journals and Various competitive magazines.

4. Virtual Class room for student as a better way of understanding topics in digitally throughoffline mode or online mode.

  9. PSO 1.Conduct survey for Civil Engineering projects and Preparing designs, drawings and Estimation for Civil engineering structures.
  10. PSO 2.Execute Civil Engineering construction and maintenance based on the given design and drawing using work force, relevant materials, equipments and testing of samples.

    PEO1.To provide socially responsible, environment friendly broad-based solutions to problems in civil engineering adapting professional ethics.

    PEO2.To promote excellence in learning and collaborative activities in construction industry to create skilled civil engineers, entrepreneurs, capable of designing civil structures and also solving real life problems.

    PEO3.To obtain the learning skills to keep abreast with rapidly changing technologies in civil engineering and thus continuing lifelong learning and to enable the students to pursue higher education.

     

Vision of EEE Department:

To create and nurture learning environment to produce well-trained Electrical Engineers with professional integrity to serve the society with the knowledge and skills earned.

Mission of EEE Department:

M1: To impart quality education and training in Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an overall background suitable for making a successful Engineering industry and higher education.

M2: To develop life-long learning skills that allows them to be adaptive and responsive to changes in society, technology and the environment, as well as career demands.

M3: To provide an accredited dynamic environment wherein students learn to develop soft skills and leadership abilities to blossom as a professional.

M4: To ensure that every student is aware of the roles and responsibilities of the professional engineering society through exposure to ethics, equity, safety and health considerations.
